Starchaser Class

dish in front, a pair of quad torpedo launchers on the underside of the saucer, and a sort of graceful design which actually used its low-poly saucer as a design feature. R5D5's mod pack proved that low-poly and brand-new designs can be the same thing, and can look good doing it. This new variant of the Starchaser goes in an altogether different direction. It carries a "hangar-pod" on the back of its engineering-hull and can build a scout-probe and four variants of fighters/scouts. Some of these birds were part of the original ship pack. Others are brand new and look the part. New work from R5D5 is always a welcome thing. It might take a little time to get used to, since it looks awkward (it's not a through-deck carrier, for instance), but it works fairly well in stock A2 and just might be what your A2 mod has been looking for. :cool:
