Eod 1.5 ZIP compressed server-only files. To get a working game you have to delete any older version before 1.50. Overwriting one mod build with another one can cause issues with the installation.
Do this manually by deleting the folder 'EoD' in C:\...\Battlefield 1942\Mods. Now extract the zip file there. And of course don't forget to install both BF1942 patches, cause EoD will only work if both (BF and EoD) are setup properly. Eve of Dest
