The Beagle Class was earmarked for duties such as: Medical Transport COE (corps of engineers) Research/repair ship Starfleet Diplopatic Courier and Transport. The Uss Beagle has incredible impulse speed and manoeuvrability, along with impressive Warp propulsive capabilities, as the first of the class this vessel is designed to incorporate the majority of the proposed capabilities, as such this vessel has a vast database of medical, scientific and engineering information. much of the proposed cargo space is taken up by the Database but the Uss Beagle is still able to carry out its courier duties. Armed with two type V phaser emitters and a single torpedo launcher this ship is capable of holding it\'s own in a fight thanks to it\'s excellent agility at impulse speeds, which allows it to keep the opponent within the firing arcs.
