Still, I have to say that I'm not yet fully satisfied with the whole production. I'll give =NAZ= props on the lighting because he's done a seamless job there; that aspect of the map is convincing enough. However, it's just boring to my eye and has a somewhat square look to it. There are lots of open spaces and not much to fill those spaces, and for the few objects that do exist in the map, it seems as though they've been meticulously placed inch-by-inch. I'd rather see them strewn about as things tend to get in real life [i]--[/i] not so perfectly placed as they are. In any case, as I said, the updates definitely shed a positive light on the map, so make sure you read the list below, check out the screenshots, and if you're up for the game, give Tank Depot a download. ;) Added support for SD and HQ gametypes Opened up the map to a underground storage area Removed all the unnecessary hedge models to improve FPS Fixed minor brush problems and modified other cosmetic details-xXezekielXx
Here's the "official" v1.0 of the recently released Tank Depot map by =NAZ=. This one features a handful of important updates to get any of you previously skeptical players in on the action. :P
