The second (late) one is from 1942 when it became a standard to use bipods, handles and buttstraps as well as the plastic stocks instead of the wooden ones. Both models are completelly redone with new high-res skins (DX7, DX9 compatible), new sounds (all of the weapon's specific sounds), effects, icons (hud, mp menu, fire mode).
