A new feature in FIFA 14 called Pure Shot will enable players to adjust their stride and approach angle to the ball in order to connect naturally and cleanly with the ball when they have time. In addition, there will be new animations such as rushed and off-balance shots when players do not have the time to strike the ball cleanly.
The FIFA 14 video illustrates how a player foot slides or skip towards the ball when their feet are not in position to strike the ball in FIFA 13.
