Seven Lives. Length: 6 min, 44 seconds. Wouldn't be bad if it weren't for the content. I was unable to will myself to behold the entire 6:44 due to the below factors. Content/Appeal: I'll preface by saying this: Base/JA+ combat is generally not fun to watch. It's definitely one of those "you gotta play it to enjoy it" sentiments that surfaces when watching videos like these. The majority of this content is full of your basic in-game video shots supplemented with the occasional text message. There were several visual effects applied to the video, the majority of which felt very disorienting, and made me exponentially less interesting in watching the remainder of the movie. I think probably the biggest souring experience about the video was that it was pretty much JUST base material, save for JA+, so you were stuck looking at base characters, so the flare was sorta lost : speaking of flare... Cinematography/Effect: Cinematography was pretty lame, and almost non-existant actually. It was mostly people just adjusting their CG_Thirdperson variables, and it showed. Maybe my definition is skewed, but I think a camera man would definitely be worthwhile. Before proceeding, I'll mention that it looked like each character had to film their own slice, and quite honestly, the camera and character movements felt a bit blocky as such. Definitely took away from the viewer appeal. Moving on to effects, I'll preface once again by saying that the intro was actually quite well done. It definitely kept my attention to a degree. However, after that, the effects just -_- got in the way, and often made me mentally flinch every time some strange transitional effect or randomly inserted effect made its appearance. Sorta shot down the professionalism(even though I know we're not dealing with professionals, it's still nice to aim for a clean professional product,) and knocked down the appeal even more. Music: Generally okay. Didn't really hurt the mood of the video, but didn't exactly help it either. I think that shall suffice for now. This media's been dissected enough. Overall, whilst it may provide pleasant memories to the clan itself, it didn't seem to be a public-friendly film. Then again, I'm not the public. Perhaps there are those who will disagree with my sentiments(there always are.) By all means, inspect the film for yourself if you have the bandwidth and time. Otherwise, probably a pass. - Averus Retruthan
