September 2005 (whoo boy, an oldie!) certainly does look like Odin, and is actually quite beautiful in its own right. It does, however, show some particular errors and weak points (such as the shape of the feet and the shape of the fae) which are very typical of Almighty Gir\'s early work, which he has since drastically improved upon. Why don\'t we focus on the high points though, shall we? The texturing here is very good, albeit somewhat simple. But then again, that\'s how the character is. The cape is very short, so it doesn\'t have nearly the issues that most capes have. The only real issue I see with the textures is they have a very rubbery or plasticy quality to them, giving the model a less realistic look than it otherwise could have. That\'s not particularly rellevant, though, since the quality of the character in the game was really much the same way. Overall despite its ties to the past, this model is definitely a solid replica of a very popular and highly-regarded Final Fantasy character (c\'mon, who doesn\'t love Odin?) and a definite must-have for the fans of the series. If you\'re a Final Fantasy fan and you pass up Odin... shame on you. Team Support: No NPC Support: No Bot Supoort: No New Sounds: No ~Inyri
