neither of those categories. It has an inefficiently-made model and a bad texture/uv mapping with a shader to cover it up. When I say the model was inefficiently made, I mean that it uses for more polies than it needs to. Several of the cylindrical sections are 5 edges high when no changes have been made; one section would have been plenty to get the same effect. While non-modellers may not understand that, it boils down to one, easily understandable thing: it\'s going to increase loading times on older machines. Now let\'s be serious. Is a single hilt going to slow down your entire rig? Probably not. But the idea is to use as few polies as you can while still producing the same product, and this hilt could be cleaner. The UV mapping is also very amateurish. There has been no attempt to skin anything individually. Instead a stock texture has been placed over the top of what I can only imagine to be a simple, quick UV map with very little attention paid to it. As a result, without the shader this hilt would look very bland. In my opinion even with the shader it looks very flat and cartoony. But perhaps cartoony was the idea here. Either way if you\'re looking for a shorter, plainer hilt, give this one a try. ~Inyri
