be released. There's still several locations that have texture stretching, and to be frankly honest the model is far too blocky for my tastes. So basically this thing was poorly UV mapped. If you look at the skinmaps, you'll be able to see that the textures are horribly stretched, only to be stretched [i]back[/i] on the actual model. Why not just make them the right dimensions in the first place? Stretching your textures always ends up destroying detail. As for the model... it still needs a lot of work. Round off the outer edge, UV map the bottoms of surfaces rather than letting them stretch, make the eye round rather than pointy, narrow down the tip of the blade rather than leaving it thick until the [i]very[/i] end. Paying attention to detail and really putting some work into a model will make it ten times better. Trying to pull a fast one on innocent Soul Calibur fans by not doing so may fool some people, but you'll know exactly how much effort when into your model. Will this model suffice for SC fans? Absolutely. I look at mods only from a modder's point of view and not a fan's. If this is what you've been waiting for, grab it. I just know that it could be a whole lot better, and I hope Marshal Banana will go all out with a version three and really pull out all the stops.
