looks, is bad, bad, bad unless the two models share UV maps! You can get away with it for, say, putting the Imperial officer's clothes on Luke, because they're basically the same model... but putting the saber droid's textures on the Rebel trooper? No no no! I don't mean to sound harsh, but this is just not a good idea and that needs to be said. The textures here are just used as the Rebel's textures, so no effort has been made to have them match the rebel trooper's UV maps. The actual textures being used are the saber droid's, albeit brightened. I guess the author said "Hey, that looks kind of neat" after either making a mistake or messing around. I myself am a strong believer in having an idea before making a skin rather than just messing around and then naming the theme after you've made it (this doesn't really look like a cybercop -- it's just a jumble of shapes on a model, and I guess that a 'cybercop' was the closest descriptive term the author could find). I'm not really interested in whether anybody finds this cool -- I know some of you will, and that's more than fine -- but for the author's sake as a modder and artist, I'm going to tell him never to do this again. Those of you who think it's cool are more than welcome to do this kind of stuff yourself, but anyone who wants to grow as a modder really needs to sit down, have an idea, and go for it. Don't just jumble up stuff and shout VOILA! and release it to the public. Where's the art in that? :( Everyone needs to start somewhere, but there are plenty of resources out there for anyone (and everyone) to start at a better place than this. And trust me, we're all more than willing to get you pointed in the right direction, if only you'll ask. Which is why I'm pointing the other way right now. :) Team Support: Yes Bot Support: No NPC Support: No New Sounds: No ~Inyri
I really want to stay positive about this skin, but there's one thing I simply must say to the author before we get any further. Using another model's textures, no matter how good you think it
