generic warehouse (which had me worried the whole campaign would be the same) but after dodging a few Smokers I was pounced on by a Hunter, who kindly knocked me through a door I hadn't seen. I almost felt sorry for killing him, as he had saved me from an embarrassing third lap around the warehouse. This is where the map patted me on the back and assured me I wouldn't have to sit through 5 maps of warehouses with small offices. The assurance came in the form of a lovely tunnel, which upon entering I was mauled nearly to death and then killed by my teammates. Lovely. So after a bit of understanding between us, we proceeded through the rest of the tunnels and came to the "Road" part. At this point we had been playing for all of 5 minutes (or we would have been if my partner, who subsequently stole my character, wouldn't have killed me) when we stumbled upon the safehouse. "That was quick...." Now here is where it got weird, after loading into the second chapter I found I couldn't do anything. I couldn't move, shoot, cough, sneeze, or even toss a pipebomb into the lap of my partner (who was also stuck). We redid the first chapter something like 4 more times but kept getting stuck in the safehouse at the start of Chapter 2. It was totally uncanny, I'm told though that the rest of the campaign is playable though and that our problems were just our own superior idiocy shining. All in all, a very well done first chapter (again, I never got unstuck) with some great attention to detail, albeit a little short. Since I couldn't get past my own personal gravity well I won't assign points but I do recommend a download, if only to comment about how easily you got along with gravity.
So, the first thing I noticed about this map (other than the hunter IMMEDIATELY outside the door) was the lack of a Road. I had kind of expected a ripoff of the toll campaign. The first building is a
