The new model is more detailed, and a little closer to the design of the real weapon, and is a markedly superior model to the previous version. The author also appears to have become more economical in designing the weapon, as the wireframe screenshot shows. The use of smoothing-groups and lower poly-counts on areas where detail is less likely to show up in the game, such as the barrel, would continue this trend, although it would lend little to the weapon\'s appearance. The most noticeable area for improvement though is in the texture which could still do with some more detail, and is an area for the author to work on. The weapon also looks rather dark and difficult to see in the game, and the author might need to change the material settings in Max a little to make it more visible. Nevertheless, this is a nice weapon model, competently constructed and worth downloading.
