Bespin Platforms

satisfactory. So you've got three Command Posts; one for the Empire, one for the Rebels, and one in the middle which is neutral. The layout of the map is mostly the same as Battlefront I Bespin, however, the platforms and objects are sized and shaped differently. Gameplay was lacking; all of the combat was centralized on the area near the neutral Command Posts. There's some flyers, but there are no flight paths for the AI, so they end up simply crashing into the buildings. The visual aspect of the map was poor as well. Upon spawning, I noticed that I could see where the sky ended, and below that line was just a black abyss of nothingness. Looking down, there were some Geonosis mountains as part of the sky, and the terrain was totally white, which looked terrible. Also, seeing as the Kamino platforms are unchanged from the assets, they do not resemble Bespin at all. One last oddity I'd like to mention is the fact that both the Rebels and Imperials have TIE Fighters. Shouldn't the Rebels have X-Wings and Y-Wings? In conclusion, this map, while a beta, is still in need of much work in order for one to fully enjoy it. If you are enticed by the screenshots, go ahead and download this.
