Droid Commando - Kamino: Storage Base

haven\'t seen this kind of thing before (foremost among them that the CIS aren\'t protagonists like the Republic or Alliance and that they\'re not even relatable antagonists like the Empire - just faceless targets), but the fact remains that we haven\'t really seen this before, and a little novelty is always nice. The map itself bears the hallmarks of the author - largely custom, a little sloppy, but undeniably new. What\'s neat to see are the handful of new unit models included with the map, some of which are fun for their uniqueness alone (i.e. Kaminoans are tall, Even Piell is not at all). The campaign is a fun one, albeit short. Art aside, the only real criticism I have is that the doors inside the facility blend into the walls so well that it\'s hard to tell where to go the first couple of times through. The map\'s simple enough that one catches on quickly, but it\'s a small barrier to entry at first. In any case, the map is certainly worth a try. Go ahead and take a look! -Mav
