Periodically you recieve gold equal to the amount of your income, and in general the team with the highest income wins. The other part of the game is to build towers to kill units your enemies send at you. Once a team's lives reach 0, they lose. How long will you last? There have been quite a few changes made, aside from the redesigned triggers and terrain, these include: 12 players can play now instead of 10 or 11. Added new commands and anti-lag features.
