Information: This is my third HL map. I have tried to make this map more elaborate than my previous two maps. This is straightforward deathmatch in an all new setting. The entire complex is a sort of abandoned temple that has been outfitted for the deranged people that enjoy killing each other for sport. Note: the alter-type water trough in the main room has mysterious healing powers left from the temples ancient inhabitants. Also, there are two "secrets" in this level. One is somewhat more visible than the other. Special Thanks: -Evile Dick and Christopher Buecheler for the custom textures. -Zoner for his compiling tools which allow included custom textures. -Chris Bokitch at Valve's Worldcraft support who helped me make the plant models run in deathmatch mode. (Cycler entities.) -Valve for making the best fps of all-time. -Dept. of Engineering and everyone who beta-tested this map for me. -Planet Half-Life, HLERC, Wavelength, HLEC, and everyone in the DoE forums for helping and keeping me up to date. -MaxD, Evile Dick, and Un_ethical for the final beta test. *Construction* Base: From Scratch Editor Used: WorldCraft 2.1 Compile Machine: PentiumII, 233MHz, 64MB RAM Construction time: Whenever I could work on it for the last 5 months. New textures: Yes - many from Evile Dick's edceltic.wad, one from Christopher Buecheler's cwb_pak2_full.wad, and one liquid texture that I tweaked CD track: 12 - Suits the level very well. Known Errors: In software mode, the func_illusionary's that are supposed to be partially transparent are not. I'm almost positive that there isn't a way to correct this. The func_wall's with those textures work fine however.
