Russian MVD Northwest Division Spetsnaz Pack.

Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs: Northwest District Spetsnaz.

This skin is based off of the Northwest District of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The patches and camouflage are all correct for this skin, and are of modern era unlike some Spetsnaz skins which are from the Soviet Era or early 1990s. These skins are the proper ones for a Modern Spetsnaz Operative.

The Camouflage and Uniform:

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs uses many different patterns and styles. This skin is of the Berezka Bekas (Birch) camouflage pattern. This pattern is a popular pattern and the uniform is comfortable, making it ideal for use in Spetsnaz Operations. The original uniform was designed and is used in the Russian Airborne Divisions.

The Gear:

For the CT Version of this skin the only incorrection is the PAGST Helmet, this of course is unavoidable because it is a reskin, afterall. The different camouflage pattern found on the vest and web gear IS correct. Many Spetsnaz units use different colored webgear, but more often you will see black. There is currently no Berezka Bekas Pattern vests or webgear, so matching patterns for this is not an option.

The Patches:

All the patches are correct, including the blood and Spetsnaz patches. The left patch (With the Russian Flag, Writing, Sword and so forth) stands for the Ministry of Internal Affairs Special Detachment, or, Spetsnaz. The right patch of the Sphinx is the patch representing the Northwest Division.

Conclusions:

For some, this skin may seem a little plain compared to other skins out there, but one must understand that the Russian Spetsnaz uses only what they need rather than glamourize themselves with sparkling uniforms full of useless nonsense.

How to install the skin:

For CS:S: Unzip the materials folder to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\Youremailname\counter-strike source\cstrike

For G-mod: Unzip the materials folder to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SourceMods\gmod - THIS WILL OVERWRITE EXISTING MODELS!
