So here we have the quite legendary M6D pistol from Halo: Combat Evolved. Mantuna released this pistol not too long ago, but on Eviltiki's Colt animations. They closely resembled the original Halo animations, but why not have the pistol ON the original animations?

I didn't do much here, I just did some QC editing and some minor scripting. I don't take any credit other than compiling this little beast. I did some very minor editing to the diffuse map so it self illumed properly (sites and red light glow in the dark) and I spruced up the glowing parts a bit.

I appreciate nostalgia a lot, and this skin is packed tight with it. Even the hands are the original MC hands. Sure they don't look great, but the whole point of this skin is to be nostalgic. If anyone wants to do a high res reskin of either the pistol or the hands, feel free to, because this port deserves it.

Anyway, there's no animation snapping as far as I know. I tested this skin on a few popular servers I play at and everything seems to be cool beans. The sounds work perfectly too (the draw might be delayed by a millisecond, can't really tell myself).

No world model because I have yet to sort that mess out. Keep getting consistency errors even after following 3 different tutorials here to the dime. I PM'd THEnub about it and hopefully he'll walk me through getting it to work. Once I get a working world model in order, I'll update this submission, so stay alert.


Upon applying this skin to your Counter-Strike: Source game, the "scripts" folder should have, at least, a text file named "weapon_deagle.txt," and the "weapons" folder inside the "scripts" folder should have, at least, a text file named "weapon_deagle.txt file" as well. These two script files are different from each other and are crucial to allowing the skin to function properly, therefore you must not move them or alter them in any way whatsoever. I cannot state this any clearer, therefore if you question me about it I will be ignoring it from now on. I'm not holding your hand so you don't screw things up.
