Edited .vmf file, making hands have the same properties as water. Refracts everything in real-time like all water in source.
Only difference is the water doesn't move, to make it more like a stealth camo, or glass if you want.
I need to thanks Lukey as well.
I tried making these a while ago, but after the shader simply removed the hands, I gave up, thinking it couldn't be done on v_models. But, after Lukey posted his water knife, I realised it could be done. I tried again, and spotted my problems. After some trial-and-error, I managed to create thse hands, which give an impressive result on any map, as long as you have a good enough GPU =)
Ignore the fps on my screenshots, I turned everything up a little for this, including HDR, to make it look better.
I can't sort the white hands problem, it's simply how the engine works. If this happens, simply use a different skin
