Plastic Knife

[Note: This is my first ever attempt at modeling anything and making a skin for any game.]

This is just a simple plastic knife modeled after the kind that you can purchase at the store, and now you can use it to kill those terrorists.

I just used a slightly off-white texture for the knife.

Also, this is only the v_model. If I don't get distracted and lazy, I'll import a world model of this. That shouldn't be too hard.

I made this model with the aid of various tutorials right off of FPSBanana (that I'm too lazy to point out. Thanks for those!)

On a personal note: I mainly did this to try out my modeling skills, and I chose this because I thought it'd be humorous.

UPDATE (5/18/09):After taking another attempt to upload the completed files to FPSB, it worked! Use the download link given on this page. Everything is up-to-date, and the readme given contains all the necessary information. Remember to check that THOROUGHLY before asking questions! Thanks!

UPDATE (5/6/09): Nevermind my last update. I fixed all the problems and included a jpeg file of the UV map. Also, I made the world view of the knife a lot larger than the actual size, just so it is more visible. PLEASE! Use this download link for now![Link Removed by Skuuba] This is the most up-to-date file of the knife. If this infringes anything I will remove this Immediately. UPDATE (5/1/09): I'm having trouble uploading the rar file. World Model is complete though. I'll have it out soon enough.

Note (5/1/09): I'm currently working on adding the world model for this. Although I'm having some trouble with the GUIStudioMDL, it should be up soon. Also, I saw someone just recently post "Make a spork" and I was wondering if anyone would like me to also do that, or even make a full set (fork, spoon, spork). Just send me a PM expressing your opinion on that. Even suggestions for different skins for this. Although, I will leave it's current texture as the default.

UPDATE 4/30/09: I messed up the folder structure in the .rar archive! It's now fixed! Let me know if there is any else wrong. Sorry for the inconvenience there. :(

Random Sidenote: Just for those who have asked and for future curiosity, I have the links for the cartoon skins and the crazy cartoonish lighting. For the record, they are not mine, and I give full credit to the original authors for making such awesomeness.
