Hello, I made this today and thought it looks pretty nice. It's based off a real knife, called the "The Cub Bear" and it is a caping knife. (Not a misspell of "camping")
Caping knives are used for fine detail work and is "ideal for the fine caping work around a trophy's eyes, ears, and nose. The deep choils in front of the handle for thumb and index finger provide excellent control for close work." So it's a hunting knife that you use for preparing animals for mounting and such. I made the grip wood just for the hell of it.
