Well, to be honest the default Day of Defeat: Source Playermodel-Bumpmaps sucked hard, especially the bumpmap for the american soldier is a piece of crap. No joke.
Therefore, I decided to do my own custom bumpmaps from scratch, they're heavily detailed and had about 6 different layers before merging them.
Through these bumpmaps, not only the shadow-detail gets improved, the reflections and phong-effects are also more detailed, you can see it very good on the compare renders I made in HLMV.
