this is my setup i play hl/ag with.
it contains a collection of files/hd custom models which i found on the internet.
i edited the arms and some origins. there are also some sprites i edited.
all in all these models represent the default models very well just in better definition. the weapons in the screenshots do not represent their origins in-game, because in the screenshots were taken in a schoot- and draw- animation (crossbow and gauss screenshot).
in this pack you have:
-detail textures for all default maps (enable these with "r_detailtextures "1"")
-classic menu background (from fpsbanana)
-new HUD (i edited one, found in the internet)
-new crosshairs (for better visibility)
-new shell, shotgunshell, rpgrocket-model
-new v_models (some from fps banana, some from other pages - all use the same arm-texture now.)
-new w_models (they fit to the v_models)
-new blue and red models (usefull for Adrenaline Gamer Mod)
-white hotglow (gauss effect)
-new gluon gun laser beam (light blue)
-fixed explosions and smoke (simplified explosions.. you have to extract "tweaked_explosion&smoke.zip". read the readme file for more information.)
-autoexec and userconfig for some basic scripts and settings. (open them with notepad to make changes/adapt your settings.)
-new decals.wad.. changes blood on walls etc.
(-half-life.wad not included in this pack)
On some models(shotgun, handgun, 357 and gaussammo) you have a choice..
models which are numbered like (v_shotgun_1, v_shotgun_2.. etc.)
are alterations (different origins or animations)..
If you get unable to connect to internet servers with this pack, go to your
folder and delete all models which begin with "p_". these p_models only work
in singleplayer mode.
extract the folders (gfx, models, resource, maps and sprites) to:
extract decals.wad, autoexec.cfg and userconfig.cfg to the same directory..
