I did not make the render. I only used it from the css release.
Okay, finally got most of the errors out of my second completed set of animations; This time for hl2. I had a lot of trouble getting this far, and even getting this weapon ingame due to a major error on my part but thanks to RedRogue I was able to get these compiled.
This sword can be used for half life 2, or half life 2 deathmatch. I'm pretty sure it will work for ep1 and 2 as well, though I have not tested it.
Things to be aware of:
I did not include custom sounds. Mainly for the reason that I always seem to mess up the scripts and sounds for the half life 2 weapons. I'm not very familiar with them, so I left them alone.
I did not include world models. I have yet to learn how to compile world models, and if you decide to play it in hl2 only, it wouldn't make that big of a difference anyway. I'll see what I can do though.
These animations only have one error in them from what i can see, and that is at the end of the slash animation, the left wrist moves a bit when it starts the idle sequence. i tried to fix this, but I ended up messing it up more, so I left it alone. I didn't include snap in the idle sequence so it may not be too noticeable to most people.
Let me know if I missed anybody in the credits please, and I'll fix it when I can.
Feel free to compile these animations on any other model, I do not mind at all. Just give me proper credit.
