What is this?

My vision of an updated version of the Medkits **and **Suit Batteries.

The models and textures are not 100% faithful to the originals, but most of the changes were intended. While much of the textures was recreated by me, some parts were just reused from other Combine Tech textures. Some things looked "out-of-place" in the originals so I changed them in my version (eg: the Caduceus was replaced with the Staff of Asclepius, ambient occlusion everywhere, water leaks, etc.).

All in all, I tried to keep them as close to the originals as possible, while also giving them my own sense of consistency.

Features:

  • New models (No LoDs)
  • More accurate collision meshes (Careful if you spawn a lot of them!)
  • Double-sized textures (1024x1024 for Medkits | 512x512 for Batteries)
  • Three colors available (Orange, Green, Blue)
  • "Ray-traced" Selfillum masks
  • Normal maps
  • Phong masks

Known Issues

  • The Normal maps may cause the models to look fully dark (while the map is well lit) or fully lit (while the map is somewhat dark) in some sections.
