duke nukem 1911

i played the duke nukem demo the other day and thought the pistol may appeal to fans of game.

ADVANCED INSTAL (vpk-all modes)

go to steamapps/common/left 4 dead /left4dead/addons and put vpk in.

go to steamapps\common\left 4 dead \left4dead...find pak01_dir and make back up....then edit pak01_dir with notepad++.

*here is EXAMPLE of a re-edit  ------ctrl+f for find menu

-----find:

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\pistol/V_Pistol_Reference" $bumpmap "effects/flat_normal"

 and change to:

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\pistol/V_Pistol_Referenca" $bumpmap "effects/guns_normal"

-----and also find:

$baseTexture "models\w_models\Pistol/W_Pistol_Reference" $bumpmap "effects/flat_normal"

 and change to:

$baseTexture "models\w_models\Pistol/W_Pistol_Referenca" $bumpmap "effects/guns_normal"

done.
