Manual install instructions

Place v_pistol_reference2.vtf Place v_pistol_reference.vmt Place v_pistol_reference_world.vmt in the following directory:

"...\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\materials\models\v_models\weapons\pistol"

Edit whitelist.cfg in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead

Add line "add" "materials/models/..."

Edit pak01__dir.vpk in the same directory as whitelist.cfg:

Inside pak01_dir.vpk with notepad++ and search "v_pistol_reference" then add a 2 to the end of v_pistol_reference.vtf. It will look like this:
