NOTE: The skin found here:"/skins/l4d/weapons/project-realism-pistols-l4d.html"Is a Texturing Combination Mod (meaning ft. someone else). THIS IS THE ORIGINAL, STANDALONE VERSION BY ME. However, I'm keeping the other version up for modders to download.

{ PROJECT: Realism } [Left4Dead] A small, fanbased modification for "Left4Dead" to make it seem a bit more "Realistic" Texture wise.

UPDATE (Sept 11th, 2010) Updated the sound due to the game no recognizing it.

The skins you see in this ARE NOT FINISHED. I'm still altering them a bit so don't ask for them. (YES they are original)

Pistols: A handgun is a firearm designed to be held and operated by one hand, with the other hand optionally supporting the shooting hand.

Mod comes with both: -Texture -Sound

Nothing I do is perfect, keep that in mind and remember I only do this for fun. If you have an issue with it, delete it/don't download it.

I actually really like this mod. Especially the sound that comes with it. Yes, it's the Magnum sound compressed. I found it sounding better in the original's place.

This is a TEXTURE mod, not a MODEL mod, so there really isn't any backing up except your pak01_dir.vpk file.

You need Notepad++ to alter the pak01_dir.vpk file: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/download It's free.

WARNING: Be sure to backup your "pak01_dir.vpk" file before editing, just so you have the ORIGINAL (or at least an original of your own) in case you fuck something up.
