Mad Can: Fury Beans

"A mediocre weapon, for mediocre times."

This one is a reference to Mad Max: Fury Road, one of my favorite films of 2015, it seems fitting to end the year with this model.

It features old and grungy materials, and I decided to keep it both in the Post Apocalyptic and DIY realms, rather than going high tech. My initial ideas for a post apocalyptic weapon were more of a rudimentary railgun instead, but in the end I decided I could be a bit more crazy with this kind of weapon.

It's also meant to have a questionable design, more balanced towards looking cool than being durable and well built, since it belongs in a world where everything is half broken and withered.

To make sure the skin really works in a PostApoc theme, I wanted it to be a good fit for Fallout 4 (made out of materials you would expect to find in the game).

I'll probably release this for Fallout 4 too, when the official tools come out, meanwhile here's the obligatory Left 4 Dead 2 release.

Materials needed:

• Baked beans can
• Mortar or similar material to fill the can
• Wooden stool leg
• Thin tire (from mountain bike or similar)
• Sharpened gear or radial saw blade
• Several bolts and nuts
• Iron rods, cloth, adhesive
• Pitchfork or pointy sharp metal
