To install manually, extract the folders to your left4dead2 directory.
Then open up pak01_dir.vpk using notepad++. select SEARCH, and look for
the a line that says $baseTexture "models\w_models\eq_medkit/w_eq_medkit.
Now their should be another one that says the same thing near the first one.
change the last portion of both lines from w_eq_medkit to w_eq_menkit and save.
finally, for the sound portion, just open up the developers console in game,
and type in snd_updateaudiocache followed by snd_rebuildaudiocache.
enjoy!
for easy install, just put the .vpk in your addons folder.
