RELEASE NOTES

This is a full custom Hunter, no reskinning here! Everything was done by scratch in my spare time over the course of 2 weeks. All textures and normals were created at 8k. The Hunter is actually has fewer polygons than Valves original, but only by 100 or so.

INSTALL

First off, you need to go to your CFG folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\cfg" Open "Config.CGF" with wordpad. Scroll down to "suitvolume "0.25"" and add a new line underneath it and type sv_consistency "0" Then save it out The reason behind this is it enables you to host local servers and over all helped me connect to more servers without any diconnect. Alternatively you can always open the console and just type sv_consistency 0 upon every start up, but that is tedious.

There are 2 versions of this skin, a 4k and 2k size of the texture maps. If your computer is slow, I recommend using the 2k version as that is the native size for Valves Hunter. Place the VPK into your Addons Folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons"

POSSIBLE ISSUES

Due to the fact this is a custom model, your game might disconnect from a server if it is enforcing SV_Consistency. I've only ran into this once or twice while testing this Hunter. Usually the VPK is just bypassed on any official servers, and most dedicated servers ignore it as well (but if you get lucky, they'll allow it) So if you do get "This server is enforcing consistency with Hunter.mdl" Just disable it from your extras and rejoin that server. Note that you will only be disconnected upon trying to join, not randomly while playing.
