Hello, Aperture Science Test Subjects. I'm Sam White, coordinator and CEO of SAF Industries. Mr. Johnson has been somewhat difficult to get ahold of for the past five centuries, so with the company grant I was awarded, I felt it was prudent for me to present this product in his place.

Due to recent events of potentially apocalyptic origin, Aperture Science has lost most if not all of their product manufacturing equipment and personnel. Coupled with the reinvigoration of the Enrichment Testing Cycle, this presents a large problem for the corporation. Test subjects are running amok with age old equipment that looks like it's been through hell (literally). Notably, the Handheld Quantum Tunnelling Devices are grimy and disgusting. We here at SAF can't allow that of our trusty business partners at Aperture.

So, Aperture has granted us permission to take up manufacture of their most popular consumer device, allowing Test Subjects all around the globe access to brand new, shiny, clean equipment.
