Inspired by such unremarkable weapons as the blaster from Quake 2 and that one gun that I used all the time in Blake Stone, this here is a simple infinite ammo pistol. It fires somewhat slow, is incredibly weak, but has great range. In fact, the secret is that it's really a melee weapon with a range of 32768. But whatever. I originally wanted this to be a sprite based weapon, but that wasn't happening.

Model is inspired by the Quake 2 blaster. Nothing was ported. Obviously it's my usual crap texturing and horrible texture mapping. I'm surprised it looks so good to be honest.

HOW TO INSTALL: 1) Install shit as usual.

2) Rename scripts/weapon_custom99.txt to be a weapon slot you don't have filled between 1 and 30. (ex: weapon_custom30.txt)

3) If you want, edit the bucket and bucket position in that file. Default is -1,20 so that it'll be highly unlikely to interfere with anything. If you have a button bound to "use weapon_customXX" or "slot0" then I guess this won't be a problem.

4) When in game, give yourself the weapon using give weapon_customXX where XX is the number you picked (1-30).

5) Kill stuff like the ammo whoring so-and-so that you always wanted to be and then come back so that you can voat 10.

edit Ok, so it's maybe a bit too weak. If you're having problems with it being too weak, look for this section in the script file and change it to an amount of damage which you think is appropriate. Perhaps something 10-20 would be better, but you can change it to 400 if that tickles your fancy. It's your SMOD.
