Story: Ok, so after I played Alien Swarm, had a blast (zing), and got the achievement, I decided to go into TF2 and claim my shnazzy hat. After I did, I was left with disappointment when I saw that the hat is lime green and not darkish and more alien like. So I cracked open A.S.'s VTF files to find they are updated and won't open; the VMTs however would. So I had to open the SDK and use my eyes and PrtScn to make this skin. It took too long to count to get the main area's alined... About 5 hours...
