Griptape'd Axe

Description: A higher resolution, modified version of the fire axe. I made the wood darker and woodier (lol), and added griptape.

Install instructions: Open up C:\Program Files\Steam folder... then, "steamapps", then "(whatever your steam account name is)", then "team fortress 2". Copy the "materials" folder from the zip file you downloaded into the "tf" folder. Be sure to say yes when it asks you about overriding stuff.

Uninstall instructions: Go to "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps(your steam account)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\models\weapons\v_fireaxe" folder and delete all the files inside. Also delete the file "bucket_fireaxe" from "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps(your steam account)\team fortress 2\tf\materials\sprites".

The wood is mine. The metal is from the TF2 material archive.

I'm releasing this skin purely for the benefit of the community, and not to flaunt my skill or test myself or whatever. To be honest, I wasn't going to release this at all. I did it a while back and it looked awful, so I didn't do anything more with it. But I figured it'd be wasteful not to submit it, so I tweaked it around a little more, toned down the normal map and added the griptape, and it looked alright. Don't assess me to critically because I don't consider this a very serious release on my part, it's just something that someone might enjoy, you know? Blah.
