This took WAY too long to do. I had plans for this for months and honestly had "Staff WIP" folder sitting in my files since October at least. It took me days upon days of finding my drive and slacking on schoolwork to finally push through this though. Let me just say this; I hate how Source Engine deals with importing, Blender deals with bones, and how SDK was broken this whole time. I had to compile via SFM! DX
Anyway, I cut off the bottom portion of Merasmus' staff model and shortened the staff a bit with some minor tweaking I forgot, so it actually fits like a real weapon. ALSO to quote emrfish6's staff skin:
This is the weapon Merasmus uses. The model was taken directly from a decompiled Merasmus model and the texture is the default one valve made.
The zip file does not contain any texture files because the game already has them, all you need to do is install the model files using the same format that is in the zip.
I thought about remaking this into a smaller, unique wizard wand and giving it its own texture, but what do you think? VERSION 2 POSSIBLY COMING SOON
* Weapon does not glow when critboosted. No idea how to fix except re-UV wrapping for its own texture in the .qc...
* Physics model is strange and the staff will pierce through the ground upon dropping. Please help! I'm afraid to mess with the .qc values.
Anyway, after about a year of personal development hell, hopefully it will have been worth the weight.
