Introduction

First of all, I want to say sorry about the render. The head was coming in all weird and I couldn't fix it. The smoothing groups are also not applied which I am trying to fix.

Description

Do you want a 4k texture with baked AOs based on a high poly normal map? Well then click that download button. This mod also provides 2k maps for the performance needy computers. Unlike TIP, this mod includes completely remade face textures in 2k (in the 4k version) and 1k (in the 2k version). I reduced the texture size in order to maximize performance and quality.

Unfortunately, this mod does not cover invuln textures and other misc textures. Therefore, I still highly suggest downloading TIP but let this mod replace it.

The download has a vpk version and a loose file version. I suggest vpk because it loads fast but if you are using TIP I suggest installing TIP and the installing the loose files afterwards replacing any files from TIP.

It would be really cool if someone could port this to SFM. Unfortunately, I do not have the knowledge to do so. If you know how to do it, please send me a pm or leave a comment explaining.

Installation

With TIP (Texture Improvement Project):
1. Navigate to C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/TeamFortress2/tf/custom
2. Make a folder inside of there and call it my_custom_stuff
