After years of secretive and intensive labor, we at Spytech, a subsidiary of Mann Co, a subsidiary of TF Industries, are proud to bring you the world's first and only luck based life saving device*!
You've made all the right moves - conducted weeks of television "reconnaissance", googled the blueprints to the safe, teleported to the top of the sheer mountain wall and run like hell into the heart of your enemy's fortress in disguise. Then some mush-mouthed psychopath lights you on fire and beats you to death with a hammer.
No more! the moment you receive a non-lethal hit, the Lucky Ringer uses the power of ASTROLOGY and SHEER LUCK to give you NEAR-INVINCIBLE PROTECTION for up to EIGHT SECONDS! It also turns you INVISIBLE for some reason, but we DON'T KNOW WHY! Also, it does some weird stuff with HUMAN CORPSES! By the time your adversary races towards your "body" to frisk you for cash and taunt emphatically for your demise, you'll already be behind him, staring fixated at your magnificent looking watch.
In a response to any rumors of similar devices available from Mann Co or its competitors, our director has issued the following statement:
"If you have any questions or issues with this product, I will personally come to your house and murder you! -Saxton Hale: Ceo, Australian"
*is not guaranteed or implied to be "first", "only", "luck based", "life saving" or "device".
Boy, that sure was a wall of useless but hopefully humourous text, huh? Let's stop beating around the bush. So you've got the Konambassador, the Konasapper, the Konacase, and the Konata Knife for your spy, but what about your watch? Hang your head in shame no more! The Lucky Ringer is a remodel and reskin for the Dead Ringer, with a Lucky Star theme. I believe this is a rare, if not the first, remodel for the DR on FPSBanana, and I would like to give a big thanks to hipnox from the TF2 forums for joining up on this project out of the blue! Please leave feedback if you enjoy it, or even if you didn't (so I can improve it), and let me know what you think.
Please don't rate this skin on your feelings toward anime in general, TF2 crossovers, or the freakishly long wall of text above this information; please vote for this skin's "originality" in regards to other Dead Ringer submissions, not other Spy or TF2 submissions. Also, I don't want to make it a voting criterion, but I'd appreciate if you told me your opinion of the cover image! I spent a few days making it from the Sandvich blueprints.
