release of DoomChronicles (v0.21), with this patch Linux users can play and/or host games and they can also join Windows-based servers...it also works in reverse, Windows users can join Linux-based servers. For those of you that have been in a coma, or living in a commune, and are wondering what this mod is all about, then read on: DoomChronicles is a modification for [b]Doom3[/b] that revamps the multiplayer experience with the addition of many features; This mod aims to provide an improved multiplayer experience by bringing a mix of classic and new gameplay elements and improved technical aspects to Doom3, and is more centered on creating a solid gameplay than having high customization abilities. The bots support all of DoomChronicles features including the alternate fire of weapons and are capable of using elevators, jumppads and teleporters to navigate the maps; this release also improves network performance by fixing an issue causing excessive bandwidth usage.
