For that reason, those gold-shield pickups are provided for a flag carrier to quickly dip in the lava pool and steal the flag. Another liquid addition is a water pool near the photon. The surface is all bouncy (think of a trampoline) but you can make it to the bottom to get some pickups. Besides this, it\'s hard not to notice the tall glass tower in the middle of the map. It serves as a trap of sorts where you take a chance between 3 teleporters to either take you to safety (and many pickups!) or fall down the glass tower to a lava pit below! I always fell down the glass tower no matter which transporter I chose.. so good luck to you in choosing the right path!
